VW unveils seventh concept car of the ID family

Volkswagen has presented the seventh concept car of the ID. family, the ID Space Vizzion, as part of its involvement with the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Like all the ID. models, the new ID Space Vizzion will be fully electric, with the concept car possessing a range of 367 miles (WLTP), with power coming from an 82kWh battery pack integrated in the floor. This means that it can charge to 80 per cent within 30 minutes on a 150kW rapid charger.

The German manufacturer says that materials used within the vehicle are sustainable, with AppleSkin featuring - an artificial leather containing an amount of residue material from apple juice production. Furthermore, the concept car introduces Smart Climate features, with drivers able to use intuitive voice controls such as 'cool quickly', 'warm feet', or 'defrost windscreen', on top of more traditional controls through the large central touchscreen.
