Toyota to launch C-HR hybrid in Geneva

News

Toyota is set to launch the production version of its C-HR hybrid compact crossover at the Geneva Motor Show.

The concept model of the new vehicle was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in late 2015, and the design is not expected to change too much for the production model.

The C-HR marks Toyota’s first major move into the growing C-segment crossover market, looking to rival offerings from other manufacturers including the Fiat 500X, the Honda HR-V, the Mazda CX-3 and the Nissan Juke.

The C-HR will be built on the Toyota New Global Architecture and is expected to feature a 1.8-litre petrol-electric hybrid powertrain.
