Fiat 500 Eco on sale in UK

The Fiat 500 range has been expanded further with the launch of its 1.3 litre 69 hp ‘Eco’, boasting a wide range of energy saving technologies.
The new efficiency improving factors include a smart alternator, improved underbody aerodynamics and low rolling resistance 15-inch tyres. As a result, the new 1.3 litre ‘Eco’ operates at a reduced 99 g/km, down from 110 g/km, which cuts its annual tax from £20 to £0.
The ‘Eco’ model also achieves 58.9 MPG for urban cycle, 70.6 MPG for extra urban cycle and 65.7 MPG for combined cycle, a noteworthy improvement from the previous standard (51.4 / 65.7/60.1 MPG respectively).
