Electric Porsche Mission E to launch in 2020

Tests on Porsche’s prototype four-door electric sports car have been conducted, with the model due to enter production in 2020.

As reported by Autocar, the Mission E will be the first bespoke electric car by Porsche and will be launched as a fifth model line.

Its official model name is yet to be decided, but at the moment it is being dubbed Mission E.

Michael Steiner, Porsche R&D boss has confirmed that design work on the model is finished and tests have begun on the full-body prototype versions of the production car.

It is expected to be finished in 2019, with first deliveries in 2020.
