Renault leads EV market in Europe for 2015

Renault was the market leading brand in electric vehicles (EVs) for 2015, with a market share of 23.6 per cent.
97,687 all electric vehicles were registered in Europe in 2015, up 47.8 per cent compared to 2014, of which 23,086 units were Renault.
The Zoe was the best performing all electric passenger car, accounting for 18,453 new registrations, representing 19.2 per cent of the market share. It was particularly popular in France, where it accounted for 48.1 per cent of the market share.
The Kangoo Z.E. was the best selling all electric light commercial vehicle (LCV), selling 4,325 units and accounting for 42.6 per cent of the electric LCV market.
