Tesla’s Model 3 enters production

The first Telsa Model 3’s have gone into production as the EV manufacturer aims to deliver the first examples of its more affordable model.

According to Next Green Car, plans announced by owner Elon Musk revealed that the first vehicles are being manufactured two weeks ahead of schedule, with the first 30 Model 3 customers due to receive their new cars on 28 July.

From the initial models, 100 cars are expected to be made in August, and more than 1,500 by the end of September.

Twenty thousand models are expected for December.

According to Next Green Car, the Model 3 price is expected to start between £30,000 and £35,000 when it is rolled out in Britain.
