EV chargers for BP petrol stations in the pipeline

Electric vehicle charge points may be installed on BP forecourts after the firm’s chief executive set up a partnership with plug-in car manufacturers.

According to Reuters, the firm’s chief executive Bob Dudley stated that BP currently has discussions going on with “a lot of the EV manufacturers to have a tie-up” with its retail network for charging.

BP is looking to join Shell in installing EV charge points at its sites around the world.
