Renault offers scrappage scheme for pre-Euro 5 vehicles

Renault has announced a car and van scrappage scheme helping customers trade-in and scrap their older vehicle for a new model.

The scheme allows customers to benefit from an allowance of between £3,000 and £7,000, including the scrappage support, towards the purchase of a new Renault car or van.

Customers will still benefit from Renault’s customer offers of either 4.9 per cent APR PCP or zero per cent APR hire purchase along with two years’ free servicing on cars or zero per cent APR hire purchase with four years’ free servicing on vans.

With the all-electric Renault ZOE, customers already benefit from a £5,000 allowance towards the purchase price.

The scrappage part exchange must be Euro 4 standard or older, have been registered by 31 December 2009 and owned in their name for more than 90 days. Vehicles part exchanged under this scheme will be permanently destroyed.
