Model Range
BMW Group continues to rapidly electrify their model range and in the last 12 months have launched the new i7, iX1 and recently the new i5, as well as announcing the new iX2. Additionally, BMW have sought to expand derivatives to provide more fleet-oriented options, including the i4 35 and the iX1 20 – both designed to offer a significantly lower BIK, while retaining long electric range. All models have been extremely well received with demand continually growing and by the end of 2023 15 BEV models will be offered.

Beyond BEV, BMW has also launched a facelifted X5 and X6, including upgraded PHEV models, the popular 530e, as well as high-performance models such as the XM and M3 Touring.

In October, there was excitement as the next-generation MINI family was announced. Completely re-designed on new platforms, the models have been engineered from the ground up, allowing for bigger batteries and therefore much improved electric ranges. Of most relevance to fleet, the new Cooper BEV and the first-ever Countryman BEV provide a new entry-point into fully-electric for the Group and a viable Corporate option for those wishing to drive a MINI.

MyBMW and MINI Apps
The MyBMW and MINI Apps now have additional areas of focus for fleet-specific customers, offering the ability to track mileage and journeys, making it easier than ever to submit expense claims when driving your BMW. The apps will also give personalised driving tips to the driver, all aimed at improving efficiency of driving and extended range. The recently announced Vehicle Footprint initiative information is also displayed in the App.

Sustainability
BMW leads the way with Vehicle Footprint, available on the i5 and all future models. This gives a 360 view on sustainability, detailing CO2 emissions for the entire lifecycle, including use phase and manufacturing phase. This level of data is paramount as businesses and fleets begin to focus more of their environmental credentials and sustainability goals.

Corporate Certified Programme
Launched in January 2023, BMW Corporate Certified is dedicated to offering industry-leading service and tailored support to fleet managers, company car drivers and leasing companies. Certified Retailers across the network are contractually committed to providing an enhanced BMW experience such as premium handover with deliveries and no more than 150 miles on the clock on arrival.
