New details of Hyundai Ioniq Electric

Hyundai has released new technical details of the Ioniq Electric, the new electric vehicle (EV) offering from the South Korean company.
The pure electric version of the Ioniq will be equipped with a 28kWh battery manufactured by LG. The battery will be positioned under the back seats and will provide a claimed range of 105 miles on a single charge.
An 88kW electric motor will power the vehicle, allowing a top speed of up to 93 miles per hour.
Prices in South Korea for the pure electric Ioniq have been confirmed to start at $32,400, with Hyundai aiming to sell at least 4,000 units in its first year on sale.
