Electric or hybrid version of every PSA car from 2019

Groupe PSA has announced it will offer every new vehicle in a choice of internal combustion, electric or hybrid version from 2019.

The manufacturer will build its models on two platforms, CMP and EMP2, which are able to integrate any of the powertrains of its line-up, internal combustion, electric or hybrid. They allow its plants to produce internal combustion, hybrid or electric vehicles on a single production line.

Starting in 2019, each new model developed by Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall will have a full-electric or hybrid version.  The all-electric, zero-emission vehicles or plug-in hybrid will emit less than 49g/km of CO2.

Fifteen new electrified vehicles will be launched in just two years. Eight new plug-in hybrid models including DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4, PEUGEOT 3008, PEUGEOT 508 and 508 SW, Citroën C5 Aircross, VAUXHALL Grandland X and OPEL Grandland X; and seven new electric models, including DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE, the first vehicle of the new electric generation which has just been revealed.
