Tesla has debuted its new electric sports car, the Roadster, which is due to be released in 2020.
It will be capable of 0-60mph in two seconds and 0-100mph in 4.2 seconds. The top speed has not yet been disclosed, but is expected to be over 250mph.
It is anticipated to have a range of 620 miles, thanks to a 200 kWh battery.
The Roadster will be a targa-roof 2+2 with all-wheel drive and clever torque-steering tech. It will have three electric motors – one up front, two in the rear.
