Coventry council upgrade city centre’s electric charge points

News

Coventry City Council is set on upgrading electric charging facilities around the city for electric vehicle drivers.

The project is in conjunction with ChargePoint Services and includes the removal of seven Chargemaster chargers which were left from the Plugged in Places legacy project.

Current chargers will be replaced with seven new twin socket 7kW charges connected to the GeniePoint Network.

All of the points are up and running and available to use with two additional charging point locations in the city yet to be confirmed.
