New Plug-In Prius to be unveiled in New York

News

Toyota has confirmed that the next development in its new Prius line-up will be revealed at the New York Auto Show.

Only sparse details have been revealed about the new plug-in model, with the manufacturer releasing a darkened image that offers a glimpse at the vehicles’ outline and rear light design.

Toyota has said that the new vehicle will feature ‘stand out ‘style’ and, while no mechanical details have been revealed, it is likely that Toyota will look to improve CO2 emissions from the previous version, pairing a larger battery with the vehicle’s hybrid power train.

The Prius will be unveiled on 23 March, and will be available to view via a live web-stream, starting at 13:10 UK time.
