Q-Park is offering a 20 per cent discount on parking in city centres across the UK and Ireland for EV drivers on the POLAR network when they pre-book.

Chargemaster already provides charging points on the POLAR network in Q-Park car parks in London, including Burlington, Chinatown, Harley Street, Knightsbridge, Leicester Square, Marble Arch, Oxford Street, Park Lane, Pimlico, Queensway, Trafalgar Square, Soho, Westminster, as well as Brindleyplace car park in Birmingham.

POLAR plus members enter a code when they book their parking online in advance at www.q-park.co.uk/pre-book, which will provide the 20 per cent discount from the already discounted prices.

Membership of the POLAR network, via the POLAR plus subscription scheme, costs £7.85 per month and provides unlimited access to over 5,000 charging points, 80 per cent of which are then free to use.

The company already offers a 50 per cent discount on its season tickets for electric vehicle drivers, which can reduce the cost of unlimited annual car park season tickets in London by £2,400.

David Martell, chief executive of Chargemaster said: “POLAR plus members already benefit from unlimited access to over 5,000 charging points, the majority of which are then free to use for them.

“The offer from Q-Park is a fantastic additional benefit for members of the POLAR network, and makes driving an electric vehicle an even more attractive proposition for more people.”
