EV charge points to be rolled out across 400 petrol stations nationwide

ChargePoint Services and Motor Fuel Group, the second largest independent forecourt operator in the UK, have teamed up to install charge points at forecourts nationwide.

It will see over 400 petrol stations sign an agreement with ChargePoint to install 50kW rapid chargers at their sites.

Station brands such as BP, Shell, Texaco, and Murco are some of the firms set to have the charge points installed - all joining the GeniePoint network which is run by ChargePoint.

Alex Bamberg, managing director, ChargePoint Services, said: “Electric Vehicle Charging is now a critical public service, and we are on target to provide the most reliable, widespread rapid charging facilities across the UK for drivers of electric vehicles, backed up by our excellent, continuous customer care program.”
