Car sharing programme offers sub 120g/km vehicles in Woking |
Woking Borough Council workers can book one of two vehicles for short business trips.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has launched the trial of a new car-sharing programme – WeCar – developed in partnership with Woking Borough Council.
Employees at Woking Borough Council can now book one of two dedicated WeCar vehicles when making short trips for business.
The sub-120 g/km vehicles are available for up to four hours at a time and employees are able to book the vehicles via the WeCar website.
Through the use of in-car telematics, when their allocated time arrives, they can unlock the vehicle with their WeCar membership card and drive away.
After the initial trial, it is anticipated that the programme will be extended to local businesses and residents.
