GreenFleet scoops publishing award

GreenFleet picked up the Brand Extension of the Year Award at the recent Independent Publisher Awards, confirming the success of GreenFleet events

GreenFleet wins publishing awardEditor Sofie Lidefjard received the Award from Independent Publishers Advisory Council co-chairs Julie Goldsmith and Nick Mazur at a ceremony at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.

35 judges representing all sectors of the magazine publishing industry reviewed nearly 200 entries to decide the shortlist and the winners in the 10 award categories.  The judges were looking for excellence in the area of brand extension during 2007 that reflects the magazine brand’s core values. The judges said: “The entry capitalises on current market conditions – the importance of green. There is good, consistent communications strategy and representation of the parent brand as well as real commercial success.”

IPAC is the central point for smaller members of the Periodical Publishers Association.
