Public Sector Innovation Award
TfL London Buses has began introducing hybrid buses in London to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution and noise. Around 100 buses will be phased into the fleet by 2010 with a further 500 each year from 2012. For their continuing environmental work, TfL London Buses successfully wins the 2007 Greenfleet Public Sector Innovation Award.
